As the story goes...
Have you seen that girl at the little local sipping her morning brew? I don’t know how else to explain it, but she’s just cool. She’s clean. She’s fresh, She glows! You know the girl with the juicy skin? The one with the genuine, effervescent smile who moves with a calm confidence. The girl with the just-showered, post-swim hair whose linen shirt slips so effortlessly off her shoulder. She twinkles with the perfectly balanced amount of ‘blink or you’ll miss them’ minimalist jewels.
She’s the muse.
A Perth based jewellery label, arlu.. was created with the intention to deliver timeless, yet modern, staple pieces that add tiny, alluring details to the simplest of canvases.
arlu..’s founder, Nikki, has worn many hats (including playing with jewellery over a decade ago!), but her most treasured and formative role in her current life is that of mother to her two daughters, Arabella and Luella. It is their names of which arlu.. is a harmonious blend, and it is this notion that makes this venture so close to her heart.
See those two dots after the label’s name? They symbolise the sisters. Big sister and little sister, side by side. Nikki is a highly nostalgic person who is incredibly sentimental, creating and revering symbolism in all of life’s special moments. Just ask her about her wedding day!
Nikki spends much time during the designing, buying and creating processes poring over the pieces she chooses to bring to you, some handmade and others sourced locally and abroad.
It is Nikki’s hope that you find enjoyment, inspiration and beauty within the arlu.. range.
Her vision is that the label, and what arlu.. embodies, will diversify with time. She has some exciting ideas stowed away in that mind of hers.
It is her dream that perhaps, one day, Arabella and Luella may work with her on the label as a feel good family project.
